These strength, conditioning and cardio based workouts are designed for all levels of fitness, regardless of your exercise history during pregnancy or prior to pregnancy. A great opportunity to not only exercise, but meet other local mums and become part of the community!

The 45 minute group workouts are entirely body weight or using equipment supplied by the trainer - all you need to bring is an exercise mat and some water.

Babies in buggies or on playmats/bouncers welcome!*

*please note that if your baby is a wobbler/walker that they are happy to remain in the buggy for the duration of the class for the safety of you, your baby and others around you.

We strive to be outdoors as much as possible but we we go indoors when the weather is against us!

Class Information

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am

Where: Outdoors or indoors (in adverse weather conditions) at Terenure Sports Club (formerly CYM), 54 Terenure Road North, Dublin 6W

Facilities: Outdoor for sunny days, indoor hall for the rainy days. Parking (€1), toilets & baby change

Suitable for: Postnatal mothers 6+weeks post vaginal birth, 8-10+ weeks post caesarean birth. We also request that you have been signed off by a women's health physio or your GP/consultant before starting. All babies in buggies or bouncers welcome.

Price: €12.50 pay as you go or you can purchase a 10 x class pack for €100 (to be used at any class within 6 months of purchase)

In-studio Mum and Baby Strength and Conditioning Classes

Whether you are looking to get back into exercise and build strength after birth, or push yourself with your strength in a studio setting. These classes suit all levels of postnatal fitness, using a multidisciplinary approach of Pilates and strength & conditioning.

Regardless of your exercise history during pregnancy or prior to pregnancy, all classes are designed to advance your own training and elevate your fitness in a studio setting.

Limited to 10 spaces per term. *All babies welcome.

*If your baby is a confident crawler/walker, we ask that they remain in the buggy/bounder for the duration of class. This is for their own safety and that of the other mothers and babies.

Class Information

When: 2 sessions per week for a 6 week term

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:15am OR

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays at 12:30pm

Where: The Movement Studio, 3 Terenure Place, Dublin 6, D6W AE16 (open to studio members and non-members)

Suitable for: Postnatal mothers 6+weeks post vaginal birth, 8-10+ weeks post caesarean birth or beyond! We also request that you have been signed off by a women's health physio or your GP/consultant before starting. All babies in buggies or bouncers welcome.

Price: The 6 week term is €300 for the group training block, including 2 x 1 hour sessions per week inclusive of VAT. Payment plan options also available to pay €100 over 3 weeks

Hi I’m Georgy,

A mum to three small children, coffee lover and your fitness friend! I have been through not only 3 pregnancies, but 3 very different experiences with each of them. Each one getting easier on my body, as opposed to harder as you may be led to believe. All by understanding and supporting my body better with exercise. 

From one mother to another, you deserve every right to feel strong and confident in your body.

Going through pregnancy, birth and beyond is a huge toll for the body and by supporting yourself physically in the best way possible, you can enjoy every moment and movement along the way.
